Víctor Riera was born in Calella in 1975. Although he studied at 'l'Aula de Música Moderna i Jazz del Conservatori del Liceu', his self-educated vocation has permitted him to create a personal language, many times at the service of another artistic disciplines. This is shown in works as 'Encara que no t'ho creguis' (videoart), 'Els Visitants' (tv), 'La Vaca Cega' (radio), 'Poesies visuals' (poetry) or 'La Tempestad' (theatre).

In the audiovisual music field he has made the music of several documentaries and short films. Among them: 'Koré Kosmou (1997)', 'La Crida (2000)' or 'Ales de Gavina (2004)'. During the 'Fòrum de les Cultures' he was one of the composers elected to take part in 'Barcelona Composers Lab' of Sundance Institute, where he received master-classes of Trevor Jones, Peter Golub and Rolfe Kent.
